Annual Community Health Fair

A collaboration between AACHI, Austin Public Health, the Asian American Resource Center, and City of Austin’s Parks and Recreation Department Facility, the 2024 Community Health Fair will take place on Saturday, July 20th from 10am – 2pm at the Asian American Resource Center. 

Last year, we had 300+ attendees across 13 language groups including Arabic, Burmese, (including Karen, Tedim, Matu) Korean, Hindi, Nepali, Vietnamese, Spanish, Pashto, Dari, & English. We offered free immunizations, health screenings, vision screening, acupuncture, fresh food distribution, school supplies, and community resource fair with 15 vendors.

This year, Austin City Council members Zo Qadri and José “Chito” Vela will be in attendance.
