I know that finding the right therapist can be a challenge.

You might have asked yourself questions like: “Will they get me?”
“Do they know what it’s like to feel torn in multiple directions?”

Or maybe, if you’re anything like me, you’ve wondered: “Is there something wrong with me?”
“Where are the therapists that even vaguely look like me?”

As a half-Asian, bicultural woman of color, I’m passionate about supporting others who live at the intersection of multiple identities.

I get it. We all deserve to find healing and wellness with a therapist who truly understands us, the cultures that have shaped us, the complexities of our lived experience, and the systems we’re navigating.

Before becoming a therapist, I taught abroad in Asia, worked with special needs and gifted students in Texas, and provided both career counseling and community-based mental health care. Across these roles, one thread has remained constant: my deep commitment to supporting communities of color and those with historically marginalized identities.

I am passionate about supporting all members of the BIPOC community, LGBTQ+ folks, Asian Americans, multiracial individuals, millennials, college students, bicultural individuals, religious minorities in the U.S., first-generation individuals, and those who have navigated financial hardship or class-based barriers.

As someone who holds both light skin/white-passing privilege and a minority identity, I welcome and engage in conversations around racial identity development, whiteness, and the complexities of navigating systems of power while holding layered experiences of belonging and difference.

Therapy Approach

I strive to be the kind of therapist who listens with her whole heart, as someone who shows up with presence, warmth, humility, and deep respect for your lived experience. I believe therapy is a sacred space for radical authenticity, deep connection, and the kind of everyday magic that happens when two humans show up fully, just as they are.
I offer a compassionate presence and an integrated view of wellness that honors your body, mind, culture, spirit, and environment. My approach is collaborative and culturally attuned grounded in the belief that healing happens in relationship. Whether you’re untangling old patterns, exploring identity, or carrying the weight of trauma, depression, anxiety, shame, or systemic stress, I offer a warm, collaborative space to be fully seen and supported in your healing. Therapy with me is a space to be fully seen and gently supported toward the life you want.

My work is grounded in a strengths-based, humanistic, and multicultural framework that values empowerment, self-inquiry, and meaning-making. My life experiences, including living abroad, navigating multiple identities, and working in diverse communities, continue to shape how I hold space for clients navigating complex systems and layered identities.
Depending on your needs and goals, I draw from a blend of approaches including:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed parts work
  • Mindfulness-based practices
  • Positive psychology
  • Somatic and trauma-informed approaches
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Career counseling, creativity, spirituality, and feminist theory
