I firmly believe we do the best we can with the tools we have at the time.  We start looking for alternatives when the tools seem to stop working or we’ve grown tired of the same unresolved outcome.

Working with me looks like a combo pack of compassion with a dose of challenger and a dash of directiveness. I aim to understand and learn what you hope for in your life. Growing is messy and painful at times. It sometimes makes the best of us not even want to do the work anymore. And that is OKAY- it’s natural to the process. I see my role as your therapist as a guide. To help you have the space to speak about your hopes & fears authentically and without judgment. Together, we’ll work to find solutions & direction to the concerns you face.

I am passionate about helping others and inspiring growth. I’m committed to helping you see yourself in the best possible light because I believe you deserve to see it too. And it’s completely normal if you don’t quite believe it, but if a quiet part deep inside you knows you want it, listen to that voice.

If you choose to work with me, I want you to know I want what’s best for you, and together we’ll find out what that is- if it doesn’t feel clear. It’s a risk opening up to a stranger, even if it’s a trained professional. But, by choosing to be here, reading this means you’re open to trying this out.

If you’re anything like me, you’re probably curious about who I am and my background. And I’ll give you a brief version.

After graduating with my degree, I spent several years working with children and families after the initial stages of disclosing a situation of abuse. This foundation shaped how I view trauma and its impact on us individually and continues inform my work today. It wasn’t until late 2020 that I decided to strike out independently with my practice.

Never did I think I’d do the work I’m doing, but life called and I had no choice but to answer. As a South Asian woman, I felt like I needed to provide the support & space that I had looked for myself years before in my healing journey. I felt like many of the issues I faced were all related to my experience as a desi daughter of immigrant parents. And when I searched for a therapist, I was set on trying to find someone who understood my culture without me having to explain EVERY detail.  And I simply felt like I couldn’t be the only one who was navigating this course, and that’s where, Revolutionary Reflections was born.

Working with South Asian people, has become my passion. I am here determined to help fellow second-gen, child of immigrants break cycles, so you can live the life you’ve always wanted but fear can NEVER happen. Let me tell you, IT IS possible to have the life you want- the one you dream of, as long as you’re open to taking a chance on yourself. And if you ask me, I 100% believe you deserve it.

We deserve to give ourselves the care and understanding we often give to friends and family. So I make it my mission to help you bring that compassion to yourself. Because I know you deserve it, and you know you do too. When you start to heal and show kindness to yourself, it starts to show up in all the parts of your life.

Now I want you to know I don’t have the answers to your life, and won’t tell you what to do. But I promise I will be with you to navigate whatever comes up for you. Remember, you have the power within you, and you’re learning the tools to feel empowered and make those moves you want.
