Much of my work in mental health has been working with clients who experience intergenerational trauma. My hope is to provide an inclusive and welcoming space for all, especially clients who face systemic discrimination and marginalization.

I take a client-centered and narrative-based approach, which to me means you are your own expert, and I am here to understand your humanness by actively listening, leaning into my natural curiosities, and reflecting feeling & meaning.

As someone who has been in therapy, I can understand the fear of being vulnerable and trusting someone with your mind and heart. It’s scary. However, my role is to support you in feeling safe and secure, in a space that prioritizes inclusivity, open-mindedness, and authenticity.

I primarily work with clients who are processing intergenerational traumas and how their experiences have affected their relationships with friends, family, and romantic partners. As clients and I process through these narratives, I focus on the therapeutic relationship and explore the intentions you have set for your emotional and mental healing.

I integrate somatic therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and trauma-conscious approaches in order for clients to better understand how trauma affects the body. Through these approaches, I hope to support you in identifying emotions, recognizing survival patterns, learning how to trust your head & heart, and connecting the pieces of ourselves that sometimes feel disconnected.
