I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I offer individual counseling for children, teens, and adults who are struggling with a wide variety of mental health and behavioral issues such as trauma, multicultural issues, grief, anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, unhealthy coping, play/activity therapy, and domestic violence. I am trained in TF-CBT and an LGBTQIA+ affirming counselor.
I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My therapeutic approaches include Person-Centered therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals take effective steps toward positive behaviors, form healthy coping strategies, and recognize their self-worth and potential. I have a passion for serving individuals of all ages who have survived trauma and other adverse life experiences. I prioritize creating a safe space for individuals to freely express their emotions.
I am a Filipina counselor and a 1st-generation immigrant. Being raised in a multicultural community, I plan to understand the individual’s own perspective about their cultural upbringing and how it affects his/her life. My goal is for individuals to feel empowered as they create their own path towards healing and acceptance.
