Fill the SNAP Gap for Austin Families!<\/p>\n

This November, thousands of Austin families will lose their SNAP food assistance entirely. For many of the families AACHI serves, losing SNAP means an immediate struggle to afford groceries.<\/p>\n

Last year, AACHI supported more than 325 households across Central Texas, and nearly 1\/3 relied on SNAP. As benefits stop for eligible families this fall, many of these same households will turn to us again for help.<\/p>\n

To respond quickly, we’re launching an emergency community campaign to provide grocery store gift cards that will help families bridge the gap: https:\/\/bit.ly\/snap_relief<\/a><\/p>\n

$25 \u2013 Helps one household buy groceries for a few days
\n$50 \u2013 Covers one week of groceries for one household
\n$100 \u2013 Provides one week of groceries for two households
\n$250 \u2013 Provides one week of groceries for five households
\n$500 \u2013 Keeps ten families fed for a week
\n<\/a>
